What Good Food Clients are Saying
"I reached out to Al to help create a unique food experience for our upscale downtown Dallas wine bar. A significant challenge we faced for our menu selections was a small prep space without a hood system. Al began by reviewing our space and our vision. He collaboratively conducted ideation sessions and targeted food tastings to hone in on our vision. During this time, Chef Al continuously sought feedback while facilitating the goal of a unique wine bar menu. He shared his knowledge of equipment options that could fit our needs, and the space as well. Along the way, Al introduced us to a variety of local businesses and manufacturers that had craveable options to allow us to differentiate from our competition. This gave our menu a local feel while contributing to simplicity of execution. As we approached our opening, Al provided hands-on set up in our kitchen, staff training, and a recipe database to enable a successful launch. As a small business, without unlimited resources, his services were invaluable. He saved us time and energy while delivering a unique menu and more."

"For the past two decades, I've had the opportunity to work with some of the top chefs and brands. Al is at the top and I say that for many reasons. He helped launch Howdy Homemade. He listened to my wants and needs, helped with menu development, staff training and follow up. Most importantly, he did it with such humility that he left my team stronger and more confident. His ability, not only to construct flavor profiles and menus but build collaboration, was something I loved. Al is a rare combination of great dad, great friend and great chef. We all love our careers and the greatness of the restaurant industry, but we need people like Al to remind us to balance it with friends and family. I truly have the highest regard for Chef Al and all he has accomplished, both at start up ventures like Howdy Homemade and at nationally recognized brands."

Howdy Homemade
"When my husband and I embarked on our journey to open a bakery/cafe, we reached out to Al Good to consult with us on our savory side and develop lunch items for our concept. He had been successful in the restaurant industry with global brands and had a love for cooking and the passion we were looking for to support us. He immediately garnered our trust with his personalized approach. Together we developed three sandwiches, three salads and a soup. He knocked it out of the park. Seven years later, we still serve five of those original menu items exactly as they were first developed. Al continued his support after the development process by assisting with our distributor, recipe manual, staff training and kitchen set-up. Our early success was enhanced by his hands-on, collaborative approach. Al’s assistance, suggestions and guidance were crucial to our initial launch and he is the guy that I reach out to for advice. Working with Al was one of the best decisions I've made."
